  • Stop wasteful spending. Ring-fence revenue for our most important services: water, power, and roads.

  • Kill corruption through accountability and transparency. Zero tolerance for officials caught stealing. We will listen to whistleblowers and protect them.

  • Work with Joburg’s problem-solvers and civic organisations to find real solutions. The seeds of Joburg’s success lie in its talented and committed people. Joburg can only be saved with private-sector investment. Business is our partner, not our enemy.

  • Appoint the best person for the job. Municipal staff must be fit for purpose, with the appropriate skills and qualifications. We will reward performance, not political patronage. We will invest in residents, not cadres.

  • Build a modern city government that respects its residents. Simple, user-friendly processes. Fair billing, digital systems, and an end to unnecessary red tape. A government by you, for you, and with you.
