South Africa is a country worth fighting for. South Africans are strong, decent and determined to build a better future.
Across our country, too many communities are being failed by broken local governments. Streets are unsafe, services are unreliable, and families are losing hope. But it does not have to be this way. Where the DA governs, we show that honest, capable government can fix problems, deliver services, create opportunities and restore pride in our towns and cities.
The 2026 local government elections are a turning point. They are our chance to bring change where it matters most: close to home, in every street, suburb, township and village.
